A woman from Trinidad and Tobago is accusing an Abuja hotel, Sabbatical Suites, of food poisoning and revealed that her bag was also stolen while she was lodged there. Carlene said she was given a meal prepared with rotten meat and the hotel management apologised after she called their attention to it. She later fell really ill as a result and was admitted to two different hospitals in Abuja, Nigeria. The hotel management promised to take care of her medical expenses but never did. Then after she was discharged and returned to the hotel, her handbag, containing her medical report from the hospital as well as other important documents, was stolen.  Carlene said she reported the incident to the police but so far, nothing has been done about it. The World football governing body,   FIFA , has given Nigeria final deadline to avoid international suspensions due to the interference in the   Nigeria Football Federation. In a letter issued on Tuesday, FIFA said that the Nigerian soccer federation headquarters must be handed back to the elected leadership by Monday, August 20, 2018 or the country will be suspended from international competitions. This comes after the Federal Government of Nigeria ordered the current board of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, to vacate their office in respect to a ruling by the Supreme Court. A freeway bridge has collapsed in the northern port city in Genoa, Italy and dozens of people are reported to have been killed as a large section of motorway bridge collapsed onto houses. The head of the local ambulance service said there were "dozens of dead", Italian news agency Adnkronos reported. However, Maria Luisa Catalano of the highway police in Genoa said work was ongoing, adding, "we don't know numbers of victims/injured yet." Up to 100 yards of the motorway collapsed at around 11:30am (9.30am GMT) during torrential rainfall after Genoa was hit by a strong thunderstorm. "The debris from the collapse came to within 20 metres of my car," said a witness, Davide Ricci, who saw the bridge go down while he was driving. Acting president Yemi Osinbajo, has ordered the immediate overhaul of Nigerian police’s special anti-robbery squad (SARS). An 11-year-old boy hacked into a replica website used by the Florida Secretary of State to report election results and changed the election results once he gained access into the site. 11-year-old Emmett Brewster was able to hack it in just 10 minutes. This happened last Friday at this year’s DEFCON hacking conference in Las Vegas. At the conference, Emmett and many other children were offered the chance to hack into a mock-up of a Secretary of State website. According to DEFCON spokespeople, the kids were offered 13 replicas of Secretary of State websites, with Florida being the first. Emmett succeeded in hacking Florida's website in only a few minutes. Emmett was one of about 50 children between the ages of 8 and 16 who took part in a kid-specific workshop at this year’s hacker conference. According to  Quartz , the kids were able to manipulate various things on the mock websites, including vote counts, candidate names, and party names.

A 38-year-old Nigerian man has been declared wanted by police in the UK over an alleged connection with a serious assault which has left a woman in a serious but stable condition in Stratford. Uchenna Nwanokwu allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old woman at about 6.40pm on Saturday. Officers were called to reports of an assault and forced entry to a property. According to the Metropolitan Police, Uchenna has been declared wanted after they were called to reports of an assault on Saturday, 28 July at 6:40pm at an address in the E15 area of Newham. Officers attended the address where they forced entry and found the victim with injuries. She was taken by the London Ambulance Service to a hospital where she remains in a critical but stable condition.
